Diamond Shape Coil Taping Machine (Gantry Type)

In this machine coil is supported on two pivots and hence can be rotated 180 degrees.The taping head is suspended and can be manipulated to tape even taper portions of the coil. The taping head is pneumatically driven. The feed is preset with set of gears. The machine is found very suitable for taping large coils of traction motors.

The machine goes around the circular portion of the job and winds insulation tape. Skirted paper insertion is manual.The machine has now mechanized the taping operations which was so far done manually all over the world.

The taping head moves on straight portion. The pitch (feed) can be set through gears. (CNC feed is optional).The neck portion (joint between circular and straight portion) has to be finished manually.

This is a semi-automatic machine to insulate flat copper conductors of fixed length where conductor sections are large. Insulating tape of paper, glass, glass epoxy,cotton, P.V.C. etc can be handled by the machine.

 

Continuous Conductor Taping Machine.

The machine is designed to manufacture TEFLON COVERED conductors used for high temperature applications. The machine is loaded with two spools of Teflon. One rotating CW (Clock Wise) and the other CCW (Anti Clock Wise).

The machine using tape consists of all the facilities like on line heating, pitch setting, taper setting program etc. The machine using full width paper is having all the required facilities like heated rollers, pressure rollers, hydraulic pressure system, temperature control, pressure control etc.

Commutator Banding Machine (Lathe) .

The machine does the Banding Operation of Banding of conductors on commutators of D.C. Motors. The set - up consists of Banding Lathe, Tape Dispensing and Tensioning Assembly Traversing on the track parallel to the Lathe. Tensioning arrangement consists of Magnetic Brake, Load Cell, Digital Tension Setting, Digital Tension Monitoring etc. The traverse feed is motorized but synchronized so that operator can have flexibility to manipulate the feed as needed. The tension range is up to 200 kgf.

R - Shape Conductor Taping Machine.

The machine is designed to wind insulation tape on R - Shape Primary of H.T. C.T.Separate machines are available for 220 kV and 420 kV versions. The taping head follows the profile of the job and hence there is no need to provide master and follower system. The machine is programmable for feed.
